Energy, Mind, Craft, Voice, Capital, Circle, Legacy — the seven facets that define a complete GenCreator. Score yourself, find your superpower, unlock your growth edge.
You'll understand each of the 7 GenCreator dimensions, how to score yourself honestly, and how to use the results to accelerate your creative trajectory.
TL;DR — Every GenCreator operates across 7 dimensions: Energy, Mind, Craft, Voice, Capital, Circle, and Legacy. Scoring each 1-10 reveals your superpower (highest score) and your growth edge (lowest). This guide breaks down every dimension with scoring criteria, growth strategies, and connection points.
A creator is more than their craft. The most prolific artists, builders, and makers in history shared something beyond technical skill — they managed their energy, built networks, thought in systems, and created legacies that outlasted their individual projects.
The 7 Dimensions model captures the complete creator. It is the scoring framework behind soul.md — the personal configuration file at the heart of the GenCreator Framework.
What it measures: Your physical and mental fuel. Sleep quality, nutrition, exercise, stress management, recovery practices.
Energy is the first dimension because everything else depends on it. A creator with brilliant ideas and zero energy ships nothing. A creator with moderate ideas and consistent energy ships daily.
Scoring Guide:
| Score | Description |
|---|---|
| 1-3 | Chronic fatigue, inconsistent sleep, reactive to stressors |
| 4-6 | Functional energy, some good days, occasional burnout cycles |
| 7-8 | Consistent high energy, established recovery practices |
| 9-10 | Energy is a superpower — optimized sleep, nutrition, movement, and recovery systems |
Growth Strategies:
What it measures: Learning velocity, pattern recognition, mental models, ability to synthesize information across domains.
Mind is how fast you learn and how deeply you connect ideas. A strong Mind dimension means you see patterns others miss, absorb new tools quickly, and combine insights from different fields into original thinking.
Scoring Guide:
| Score | Description |
|---|---|
| 1-3 | Learning feels slow, single-domain focus, few mental models |
| 4-6 | Steady learner, some cross-domain thinking, growing library |
| 7-8 | Fast learner, strong pattern recognition, multiple frameworks |
| 9-10 | Polymathic thinking — rapid synthesis across domains, original mental models |
Growth Strategies:
What it measures: The quality and depth of your primary creative skill. Code, writing, music, design, architecture — whatever you build with your hands and mind.
Craft is what you are known for. It is the thing people pay for, share, and reference. A high Craft score means your work speaks for itself.
Scoring Guide:
| Score | Description |
|---|---|
| 1-3 | Early stage — exploring, experimenting, finding your medium |
| 4-6 | Competent — can produce quality work, still developing style |
| 7-8 | Professional — recognizable quality, consistent output |
| 9-10 | Mastery — your craft is your signature, others study your approach |
Growth Strategies:
What it measures: Your ability to articulate ideas, build an audience, and be heard. Writing, speaking, content creation, personal brand clarity.
Voice is how the world finds you. A creator with extraordinary craft and zero voice is invisible. Voice is the amplifier that turns craft into impact.
Scoring Guide:
| Score | Description |
|---|---|
| 1-3 | Rarely publish, unclear positioning, audience is incidental |
| 4-6 | Regular publishing, growing audience, developing a recognizable style |
| 7-8 | Clear voice, engaged audience, content generates inbound opportunities |
| 9-10 | Thought leader — your voice shapes conversations in your field |
Growth Strategies:
What it measures: Revenue systems, financial sustainability, ability to invest in tools and growth. Not just income — the systems that generate income.
Capital enables everything. It is the difference between a hobby and a career. A high Capital score means your creative work sustains itself financially.
Scoring Guide:
| Score | Description |
|---|---|
| 1-3 | Creative work is unpaid, no revenue model, dependent on day job |
| 4-6 | Some revenue, experimenting with monetization, not yet sustainable |
| 7-8 | Sustainable creative income, multiple revenue streams, reinvesting |
| 9-10 | Creative business is thriving — products, services, and systems generating reliable revenue |
Growth Strategies:
What it measures: The quality of your creative network. Peers, mentors, collaborators, community presence.
Circle is the dimension most creators underestimate. Your trajectory is shaped by the people around you. A strong Circle provides accountability, feedback, collaboration, and opportunities that you could never find alone.
Scoring Guide:
| Score | Description |
|---|---|
| 1-3 | Building solo, few creative peers, limited feedback loops |
| 4-6 | Some connections, occasional collaboration, emerging community presence |
| 7-8 | Strong network, regular collaboration, active in communities |
| 9-10 | Hub connector — your network creates opportunities for everyone in it |
Growth Strategies:
What it measures: Your ability to create things that outlast the moment. Frameworks, products, systems, bodies of work that compound over years.
Legacy is what separates a creator from a content machine. It is the dimension that asks: Will this matter in 5 years?
Scoring Guide:
| Score | Description |
|---|---|
| 1-3 | Focused on daily output, little long-term planning |
| 4-6 | Some evergreen work, beginning to think in systems and products |
| 7-8 | Active legacy building — frameworks, courses, products that grow over time |
| 9-10 | Your work compounds independently — it teaches, earns, and influences without your daily involvement |

The GenCreator Self-Assessment is a 2-minute interactive quiz that scores all 7 dimensions and generates a radar chart of your current state.
Your highest-scoring dimension is your superpower. It is the dimension that comes naturally, the one where you already operate at a high level. Lean into it — your superpower is your differentiator.
Your lowest-scoring dimension is your growth edge. It is the single biggest unlock available to you right now. Improving your weakest dimension has an outsized effect on your overall creative capacity.
Every week, open your soul.md and ask three questions:
This 15-minute ritual is how the 7 Dimensions move from theory to practice.
The dimensions are interconnected:
Understanding these connections helps you prioritize. Improving Energy has the broadest impact because it lifts everything. Improving Voice has the most visible impact because it amplifies what you have already built.
Your dimensions will shift. That is the point. The radar chart is a compass, not a destination.
Monthly is the sweet spot. Weekly reviews track actions. Monthly assessments track trajectory.
You can maintain all 7, but rapid improvement happens when you focus on 1-2 dimensions at a time. Spread attention too thin and nothing moves meaningfully.
Start with Energy. Always start with Energy. When your physical and mental foundation is solid, every other dimension becomes easier to develop.
There is no ideal distribution. A GenCreator who scores 10/10 in Craft and 4/10 in Voice is a different archetype than one who scores 10/10 in Voice and 4/10 in Craft. Both are valid. The framework reveals your unique shape, not an ideal one.
The 7 Dimensions are the measurement layer. The 12 Principles are the action layer. Principles like "Ship daily" improve Craft. Principles like "Build in public" improve Voice. The dimensions tell you where to apply which principle.
